15 January, 2009 - Microsoft organized a showcase about Microsoft technologies in TechNet MSDN Technology Summit at KL Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur City Centre in Malaysia from 9.00am - 6.00pm.

TechNet MSDN Technology Summit is a good opportunity and a conference for those IT professionals and Developers to stay current on today's technologies!

This conference featured early preview of the latest microsoft product that still under Beta, Windows 7. Together with latest information on brand new product releases like SQL Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 and the Visual Studio development platform.

MSDN introduced Software plus Service : The vision for next generation applications.

"The future is a combination of local software and Internet services interacting with one another. In this session you will learn how to develop the next generation of local software that is developed using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), and cloud services. We will be giving you a sneak preview of a reference application which was developed locally in Malaysia. It is meant to demonstrate what a typical software plus services solution may look like. Check out the Azure Services Developer Portal to provision your applications and integrate them with the Windows Live ID Authentication system. You will see an identity-aware application that leverages the Live Platform to create a seamless, and customized sign on experiences across the local software and the cloud service.-Microsoft"
